CustomGuides.net

No matter how far or fast CustomGuides.net may progress, it is always going to cover only an extremely small proportion of the people, organisations and topics, that it could cover. (This is so even of the great Wikipedia!) But to check if what you're interested in is covered only takes a few seconds.

If you want to know if CustomGuides.net has anything on a particular person, politician, organisation or topic, simply do a Google search on CustomGuides.net and then whatever you're interested in.
For instance, if you wanted to know if we had anything on the New South Wales Attorney General John Hatzistergos, you'd do a Google search on CustomGuides.net hatzistergos and these results would come up - at least they did for us, on 14 Mar 2008!

If nothing comes up, you will have lost only the few seconds of your time that this takes.
(Other examples of this are shown further down this page.)
The tremendous advantage of this is that, even though CustomGuides.net is extremely small at this stage, and may continue to be for some time, we can do work on a particular person, organisation and/or topic without feeling, "How are people going to find this stuff?"
As an example, we have been putting some material together recently on a fairly insignificant solicitor in a semi-rural area of New South Wales, whose conduct in a particular matter we think leaves a lot to be desired. One of the things that motivates us is the thought that for all time, this material will be up on the internet for the benefit of people who may wish to know what she's really like to deal with.
And an advantage of this also is that it gives us more power in dealing with her - although this particular solicitor is probably not bright enough to realise this.
And if you as a CustomGuides.net visitor feel that you have information on a particular person, organisation and/or topic, perhaps we can look into it and add it to our site.
We envisage that, in time, if you are considering using a particular, doctor or lawyer or dentist, for instance, you will be able to go to CustomGuides.net, or a similar site and see if there is any material available which might help you decide whether to use them or not.
Of course, at present it takes a number of days before material we have put up can be located in this way. We don't really understand this, but it seems there has to be a certain amount of traffic for a page before it registers with Google.
But this will be less and less of a problem as the site gathers momentum.

If you wanted to know if we had anything on the New South Wales Minister for Education & Training, you'd do a Google search on CustomGuides.net della and these results would come up - at least they did for us, on 15 Mar 2008!

If you wanted to know if we had anything on the Livermore & Son Pty Ltd, Pre-Purchase Pest Inspectors, you'd do a Google search on CustomGuides.net livermore and these results would come up - at least they did for us, on 15 Mar 2008!
